About our group

Loretta, group founder

We are a group of women who meet fortnightly to make friends, learn new things, and do something different. We welcome all women regardless of faith, background or age and encourage new members.I felt that the group would be a great way to focus on new and interesting things, and to share them with other women for support and friendship.

Mission Statement:
Our group aims to welcome all Women.

We strive to provide an open, friendly and supportive environment in which we can develop as individuals whilst building strong relationships with other Women.

We offer an informative and diverse programme, incorporating suggestions from within the group.

We aim for Women to gain the confidence to talk openly. without fear of judgement and to create a confidential environment.

We hope to contribute to the wider community by providing a service for all Women, and be aware of local and global issues that may interest us as possible causes to support.

We each make a £2.50 contribution every time we meet in order that we can continue to provide a varied programme for the group, this also goes towards refreshments,  and advertising costs. We did operate for a long time on voluntary contributions but now feel that if the group is to move forward and develop further we needed some regular funding.

If you are interested then join us for the next meeting, no need to pay on your first visit just try us out!

We are lucky enough to have the use of a lovely venue, provided by St James Church.

Meetings are held from 19:30 – 21:00 unless announced otherwise.

Details of our next meeting can be found here.

We meet at the following address:

St James Centre, 13 Beauchamp Lane, Oxford, OX4 3LF.
